Important information regarding COVID-19

We at A Care Connection are closely monitoring all developments regarding COVID-19 and we want to assure our clients and their families that we are communicating regularly with all caregivers so that both our clients and caregivers are best protected from the spread of infectious diseases. Specifically, the caregivers are prescreening to ensure they are free of any COVID-19 related symptoms, such as fever, cough, and sore throat, prior to entering a client’s home and proper supplies and equipment, such as gloves and masks, are used where necessary. Additionally, our caregivers must verify through our scheduling system that they are symptom free and have not knowingly been around anybody who is positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days before they can clock in for any shift. Our highest priority has always been to maximize the safety of our clients and we remain focused on exactly that as we all navigate this COVID-19 pandemic. Please join us in undertaking reasonable measures to ensure the safety of all people, but especially the elderly who make up one of the most vulnerable segments of our society. Stay home. Stay Safe. Save lives.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updates it website with new information regularly, and is a valuable resource of information regarding COVID-19.
